You go, girl.  Be safe and learn all you can.  Today's army is not my army (thank God).  Thank you for choosing this path and please take this old blessing "May God be with you in all the dark places you must walk."

John & Renee,
Thank you to Casey for serving, she will be fine. I have several immediate family members serving right now a (Navy) sister who just returned from Iraq, a nephew who just joined the army, a niece in the ROTC will be entering the service next spring,(2) brothers in the Navy, yes,  I worry about them.
Casey has a good head on her shoulders, she'll do fine. Keep sending care pkgs and letters to her that is the best medicine wherever she is at.
My sis loved it when I sent pkgs while she was in Iraq. Makes home so much closer.

Renee and John--
Our youngest daughter Rachel (Jaci Sheldrick's sister) has married a young man that is in the Air Force. They are station at Shaw AF Base in SC at this time.  Rachel is also looking join the Air Force.  You daughter is very brave and smart to this step to a great future, she has the world at her feet.  I know how you feel about leaving her go, but you did a great job raising her, she has proved that.  GOD Bless.

Thank You Casey for serving or country. We also salute you. As I always told my son, TAKE CARE GOD BLESS AND STAY SAFE!!!  We are very proud of you.
Renee, if ya ever need to talk give me a call. I can understan how you feel about having a child in the service.  Stay strong for her and she`ll stay stronger for you.
